Idaho’s Unemployment Rate Drops to 2.9% for August

Idaho’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased by one-tenth of a percent from July to 2.9%.

August was the first time Idaho’s  unemployment rate dropped below 3% since March of 2020. The state’s previous streak of unemployment rates under 3% lasted for 26 months – from February 2018 to March 2020.



Governor Little Hosts Oct. 12 'Future of Work' Summit

Idaho employers, education and policy leaders are invited to join Gov. Little’s all-virtual “Summit on the Future of Work,” Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. MT.

Keynote Speaker Gov. Brad Little will open the “Age of Agility” event and will be followed by speakers who will share their insights on what needs to happen to ensure Idahoans thrive in the workplace.
